DESCRIPTION:) Highfield Hall & Gardens is “Decking the Hall” for the 19th Annual Holidays at Highfield starting Friday\, November 21\, and running for four consecutive weekends\, Thursdays through Sundays\, except Thanksgiving Day.  Visit the decorated house and shop in our select artisan gift gallery. \nStep into the timeless magic of The Shopkeepers’ Noël—a captivating celebration of Victorian Christmas charm. Elegant\, enchanting\, and filled with nostalgic wonder\, each window tells a story\, and every room shimmers with holiday delight. \nEnjoy spectacular decorations\, festive music\, seasonal activities\, and whimsical displays that delight visitors of all ages. The beloved Gift Gallery returns with handcrafted artisan gifts\, and our holiday craft room offers hands-on projects to spark your creativity. \nThere is something extra for everyone! Artisan Gift Gallery\, crafts for all ages\, a pictorial scavenger hunt for children\, and an outdoor Story Walk featuring holiday and winter themed books. On Saturdays and Sundays\, we will have story reading for children\, and our favorite Snow Queen and Snow Princesses will make regular appearances. \nPrograms including holiday culinary\, felting\, and floral classes are scheduled throughout these weeks. These classes fill up fast\, so check out the website for dates and pricing information. \nNew this year we are twilight hours each Friday from 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm\, when the lights twinkle a little brighter and the magic of the season feels just a bit closer. During these special evening hours\, enjoy libations and light snacks as you stroll through a captivating celebration of Victorian Christmas charm.  \nThere is no better place to get into the holiday spirit than Holidays at Highfield.  Gather your friends and family and make Holidays at Highfield a treasured tradition. \nAdmission is $15 member/$20 non-member.  Military and children 16 and under are free.  Twilight Hours are $30 for adults. Bring family\, bring friends… there’s nothing like a Holiday on the Cape. \nAlyssa Wang takes the podium for the first time as Cape Symphony’s Music Director at these wonderful performances. \nPatrice Tiedemann\, Soprano\nPatrice Tiedemann’s performance highlights include appearances as a soloist with Boston Lyric Opera as The Water in the East Coast premiere of The Little Prince\, in Hansel & Gretel with the Rhode Island Philharmonic\, as Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana with the Pioneer Valley Symphony\, and as Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus with Opera Providence and Cape Cod Opera. \nShe has performed as a Holiday Pops soloist with the Boston Pops\, the Cape Symphony\, and the New Bedford Symphony\, and as the Mother Abbess in The Sound of Music with New Bedford Festival Theatre and Theatre by the Sea\, with the Boston Civic Symphony (Verdi’s Requiem)\, with the University Chorale of Boston College (Dubois’s Seven Last Words of Christ and Beethoven’s 9th Symphony) and nationwide in classical\, sacred\, and theatrical repertoire. \nAs Artistic Director of Seaglass Theater Company\, Ms. Tiedemann produces creatively staged performances of classic vocal repertoire for Southern New England. In 2021\, she served as the dramaturg and sang the role of Eliza Brock for the world premiere of Jodi Goble’s Whaling Women. \nChatham Chorale\nIncorporated in 1977\, the Chatham Chorale is dedicated to performing the world’s rich diversity of choral music and supporting the musical arts and artists on Cape Cod. Joe Marchio became Music Director of the Chorale in 2010. \nAlign Dance Company\nALIGN is a creative dance space in Sandwich\, Massachusetts where students feel comfortable to learn and grow. Through 1:1 coaching\, group training\, and a variety of classes\, Align’s dedicated professionals and educators lead dancers to success in whatever form they pursue\, from strengthening their core values as they grow into confident young humans to finding a place in the professional or pre-professional dance world. \nCape Symphony Youth Orchestra\nThe Cape Symphony Youth Orchestra is the flagship ensemble of the Cape Symphony Youth Orchestra Program. Music Director and Conductor Mark Miller\, Principal Clarinet of the Cape Symphony Orchestra\, has more than 35 years’ experience working with talented youth orchestra musicians.
