Creative Writing Workshop with Dominic Cappuccino

Participants will learn the fundamentals of writing a short story – setting, characters, and plot. They will practice their writing skills with additional creative exercises and receive feedback on their writing. At the end of the workshop the short story will be made available to the public with permission from the writer.

There aren’t any rules. Create what you want to create. Your protagonist could be evil, they could be based on your favorite manga character, maybe even make yourself into a superhero and write on your adventures saving our community. Do you want the villain to be a toaster? Then make the villain a toaster! The sky’s the limit.

You can certainly dive deeper into your own identity by writing about a fictional character which is a reflection of you! Not only does the workshop allow you to grow creatively, it also opens doors to your own self. Like writing in a journal, mashes of words on paper are a great  starting point.
