West Falmouth Library presents an author talk by Linda Humphrey and Maria Lenhart on Wednesday, June 12, at 6:30 pm. The duo have authored the book Secret Cape Cod and the Islands: a Guide to the Weird, Wonderful, and Obscure. This talk is free and open to the public.

Veteran journalists Linda Humphrey and Maria Lenhart left no stone unturned while spending countless hours investigating the secret treasures of a region they have known and loved for many years.

Linda Humphrey is a journalist formerly on staff at Cosmopolitan and Travel Weekly. Based on Cape Cod and in New York City, she is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison and the Institute of Culinary Education.

Maria Lenhart is a writer and editor whose articles have appeared in more than 100 publications, including Travel + Leisure, AAA Traveler, Los Angeles Times, Skift, the Christian Science Monitor, and Via. Her books include Hidden Oregon and Hidden Pacific Northwest. Her work has received the prestigious Lowell Thomas award for travel journalism and numerous SATW awards.
