Woods Hole Library Screens Bob Dylan Film

April 12 @ 3:00 pm

The Woods Hole Public Library will host a free screening of the newly released Bob Dylan biopic on Saturday, April 12, at 3 PM. The film is based on the 2015 book Dylan Goes Electric! by Elijah Wald, who grew up coming to Woods Hole in the summer as the son of two prominent scientists and who has given a number of talks and performances at the Woods Hole Public Library over the years. The film portrays Dylan through his earliest folk music success until the momentous controversy over his use of electric instruments. It stars Timothée Chalamet, Edward Norton, and Elle Fanning and earned many award nominations, including eight Academy Award nominations. The running time is 141 minutes.
