Woods Hole Public Library: Let’s Draw Cartoons!

The Woods Hole Public Library will host a series of fun and creative cartoon workshops this July with artist David Browne. The workshop will consist of simple drawing exercises, geared to kids, but that adults can also enjoy. Each exercise will feature a nautical theme to tie in with the Library’s Reading Regatta summer reading program. No prior experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided. The workshops will take place on three consecutive Wednesdays, July 3, 10, and 17 at 3:00 PM. Participants can attend one class or all three–each class will feature slightly different prompts.

David Browne is a California-based creative collaborator with 15+ years of experience in the design, art, branding and sales landscapes. In addition to drawing comics, he specializes in design and fabrication, commercial and editorial art direction, merchandising and collaborative design partnerships.
