ArtsFalmouth, Inc. has no paid staff and relies on a volunteer board of directors and volunteers to plan, coordinate, and present its three major annual events: the Woods Hole Trad Stroll in May (virtual in June and July in 2021), Arts Alive in June (in September in 2021), and Jazztober in October (expected to be in October in 2021.
You can contribute to the success of ArtsFalmouth and our mission to support the arts in Falmouth and the upper Cape by contributing your time and talents.
You can help in numerous ways:
- help coordinate the Annual Meeting (March)
- help plan and staff the Woods Hole Stroll (May)
- help plan and staff Arts Alive (June)
- help plan and staff Jazztober (October)
- serve on a committee such as Fundraising, Education, Promotion, Events, or Membership
- videotape and photograph events
- assist with publicity and marketing of events
- assist with fundraising: donations, grant writing, special events
- design and production of promotional materials
- assist with permitting and paperwork for events
- assist with ArtsFalmouth Presents… and other productions on FCTV
- share your arts events by posting them in our online calendar
- contribute content for this website
- serve on the board of ArtsFalmouth
Volunteering is a great opportunity to support the arts, but it is also a way to make new friends, learn more about and participate more fully in the thriving visual, literary, and performing arts in the area, and experience the joy of a job well done.
