Dream Tale Puppets presents “Jack and the Beanstalk” in Woods Hole

When Jack sells the family cow for some magic beans, he launches his family on a GIANT adventure. This joyous and imaginative production transports audiences up the beanstalk using every style of puppet character, from hand puppets and masks to marionettes. Lively narration, beautiful design, and hilarious physical comedy make this an inspiring and memorable show for all ages. The show is 45 – 50 minutes long.

This event is the second one in the Woods Hole Puppetry Series. The series continues with “Alice, or the Red King’s Dream” on Friday, July 17th, at the Community Hall, and “Badger Meets the Fairies” by Margaret Moody Puppets, on the following Friday at the Old Fire Station, both at 4:30 p.m.

Dream Tale Puppets, founded in 2003 in Mashpee and led by Jacek Zuzanski, produces and performs shows, offers workshops and classes, and trains actors-puppeteers.
